Jinse Finance reported that digital remittance service provider Zepz (which owns WorldRemit and Sendwave) has launched a new crypto wallet—Sendwave Wallet—on the Solana blockchain. Zepz stated that the wallet will provide cross-border payment services via stablecoins, targeting users in over 100 countries worldwide. It is reported that Sendwave Wallet allows users to send, store, and use USDC on the Solana network. This move marks Zepz, which processes over $15 billions in annual remittances, expanding its services beyond traditional remittance. In July this year, Zepz partnered with USDC issuer Circle to integrate stablecoin payments into everyday use cases.

According to ChainCatcher, monitored by Lookonchain, an Ethereum OG holding 736,000 ETH (worth $2.89 billion) deposited 500 million USDT into their treasury before the stable pre-deposit event announcement. This OG borrowed the USDT by collateralizing 300,000 ETH on Aave. Previously, after the Layer 1 stablecoin project Stable announced its first phase pre-deposit event, the $825 million quota was sold out in seconds, sparking community doubts about potential “insider trading.” Verification shows that the official announcement was released at 9:10 (UTC+8), while on-chain data indicates the first deposit was made at 8:48 (UTC+8), before the official announcement. Rough estimates suggest that over 70% of deposits were made before the announcement.
