According to Odaily, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) led by Musk experienced "aggressive layoffs by the end of 2025, but failed to save money." Data shows that the number of U.S. government employees dropped by about 9% this year, decreasing from 3.015 million federal workers in January to 2.744 million in November. Meanwhile, as of December 19, expenditures had increased from $7.135 trillions to $7.558 trillions, representing nearly a 6% rise. In addition, Musk had proposed the possibility of forming a third party during the summer, but in recent months he has resumed donating to the Republican Party. (Yahoo Finance)
