Trend Research borrowed to buy 46,000 ETH, currently holding a total of 580,000 ETH with an unrealized loss of $141 millions.
According to Odaily, Ember monitoring shows that Trend Research, a secondary investment institution under Jackyi_ld, purchased 46,379 ETH today using leveraged loans, valued at $137 million.
Since early November, when ETH was at $3,400, the institution began bottom-fishing and currently holds a total of 580,000 ETH, valued at $1.72 billion, with an average cost of approximately $3,208 per ETH. At present, they have an unrealized loss of $141 million. Trend Research used leveraged loans to purchase these assets, having borrowed a total of 887 million USDT from Aave, with a leverage ratio of about 2x. Previously, the institution made a profit of $24.48 million by shorting ETH.
