CertiK Annual Report: As AI Becomes a Phishing "Amplifier," Users Should Strengthen Security Awareness
PANews reported on December 23 that CertiK's recently released "2025 Skynet Hack3D Web3 Security Report" points out that phishing remains the most frequent security threat of the year. In 2025, a total of 248 phishing incidents were recorded, resulting in losses of approximately $723 million. Notably, the proliferation of AI technology is becoming an "amplifier" for phishing attacks: attackers are using AI to generate highly realistic phishing websites, wallet pop-ups, and multilingual scam messages, and are combining on-chain data with social media for precise targeting, causing traditional defense measures to become increasingly less effective. The report warns that both individual users and project teams need to strengthen security awareness and protective measures to cope with the escalation of AI-driven attacks.
