US Q3 preliminary GDP exceeds expectations, core PCE in line with forecasts
PANews, December 23 – According to Golden Ten Data, the US actual GDP annualized quarterly growth rate for the third quarter recorded 4.3%, far exceeding the expected 3.3% and the previous value of 3.8%. The core PCE price index annualized quarterly initial value was 2.9%, in line with market expectations and higher than the previous value of 2.6%. In addition, the actual personal consumption expenditure quarterly initial value was 3.5%, significantly higher than the expected 2.7% and the previous value of 2.5%.
