Financial Times: Amazon in talks to invest over $10 billions in OpenAI, which could be valued at over $500 billions
According to TechFlow, on December 17, the Financial Times reported that Amazon is in talks to invest more than $10 billion in OpenAI. OpenAI will also use Amazon's Trainium series of artificial intelligence chips and rent additional data center capacity to run its models and tools. This is the latest investment agreement reached between Amazon and OpenAI and its infrastructure providers. Once the deal is completed, OpenAI's valuation could exceed $500 billion.
