Solana jointly outlines the vision for the upcoming SKR token on Solana Mobile

PANews, December 17 — According to SolanaFloor, Solana co-founder Toly explained his vision for the upcoming SKR token from Solana Mobile. He stated that the technology stack is “far from ready,” but in theory, the token could allow holders to achieve vertical control over the phone, user experience, and revenue acquisition. He added: “SKR and SMS (functionality) enable value capture for token holders through cryptography and Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs).”

Previous reports indicated that Solana Mobile will launch the SKR token in January 2026, with 30% allocated for airdrops.
