Nvidia CFO: No Final Agreement Reached with OpenAI Yet
Jinse Finance reported that Nvidia's Chief Financial Officer stated that a final agreement has not yet been reached with OpenAI. As of 2026, Nvidia's total orders for Blackwell and Rubin AI chips have reached $500 billion, but this "does not include any ongoing work under the next phase of our current agreement with OpenAI." Most of Nvidia's newly shipped AI chips are currently used to expand data centers, rather than replace existing equipment.
