Sony Bank to Issue US Dollar-Pegged Stablecoin in the United States
According to ChainCatcher, citing a report from Nikkei News, Sony Bank is expected to issue a US dollar-pegged stablecoin in the United States as early as the 2026 fiscal year.
Sony Group plans to use this stablecoin for payments within its ecosystem for gaming and anime content.
