UK neobank ClearBank plans to join the Circle Payments Network
BlockBeats News, October 27, according to CoinDesk, ClearBank, a UK-based new bank supporting crypto and a regulated Faster Payments provider, plans to join the Circle Payments Network (CPN). It will connect its cloud-native banking platform with Circle's blockchain infrastructure to accelerate cross-border payment speeds and provide access to regulated stablecoins.
This move follows a new strategic agreement between the UK-founded clearing bank and Circle Internet Group (the issuer of USDC and EURC stablecoins). ClearBank will become one of the first European banks to access CPN, enabling customers to transfer funds globally at near-instant speeds while maintaining regulatory transparency.
