BTQ and ICTK sign a $15 million quantum-secure chip development and joint investment agreement
Jinse Finance reported that BTQ and ICTK have signed a development and joint investment agreement worth $15 million to jointly develop a quantum-secure component chip called "Quantum Computing in Memory" (QCIM). The two agreements cover joint design through certification and BTQ's equity investment, with ICTK providing physical cost-sharing and priority manufacturing capabilities. This collaboration aims to address the increasingly severe cybersecurity threats in the era of quantum computing, with a particular focus on protecting digital assets and the stablecoin market. In addition, this partnership complements South Korea's efforts to accelerate the deployment of quantum security technologies in the defense, financial, and communications sectors, enhancing the commercialization speed and strategic autonomy of quantum security technologies.
