Fed mouthpiece: U.S. bank reserves fall to critical levels
According to Golden Ten Data, "Federal Reserve mouthpiece" Nick Timiraos stated that as the U.S. Treasury rebuilds its cash balance, the ratio of bank reserves to bank assets has recently fallen below 13%. New York Fed President Williams had previously regarded this level as the critical point for reserves being considered "ample."
