Milan: I don't think it's necessary to cut interest rates by more than 50 basis points
Milan, a member of the Federal Reserve Board, said that the differences with colleagues' policy views are more about the speed of interest rate cuts rather than the ultimate interest rate target; a more optimistic view on inflation is mainly due to expectations of housing costs; and believes that it is not necessary to cut interest rates by more than 50 basis points.
