Leap Therapeutics completes $58.88 million private placement to launch digital asset financial strategy
Jinse Finance reported that biotechnology company Leap Therapeutics (NASDAQ: LPTX) announced today that it has completed the previously announced private placement led by Winklevoss Capital, raising $58,888,888 in cash to launch its digital asset financial strategy. Winklevoss Capital will provide funding and strategic support to help Leap build and execute its digital asset financial strategy. According to the lead investor agreement, the Leap board of directors will be expanded to 12 members, and Winklevoss Capital will have the right to nominate two individuals to the Leap board, one of whom will also serve as chairman of the board. Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP served as legal counsel to Leap, and Cooley LLP served as legal counsel to Winklevoss Capital.
