Trump claims "Over $17 trillion in investments will be generated in the US this year"

BlockBeats News, on September 18, U.S. President Trump claimed at a joint press conference with the British Prime Minister that "this year, the United States will generate over $17 trillion in investment."
In response to this statement, economist Peter Schiff said that this would mean U.S. GDP growth would surge by about 50%, and the dollar would soar due to capital flows. Therefore, such a claim is obviously nonsense.
