WeChat Pay Officially Announces "Outsourcing for Internal Use" Service Upgrade, Adds Multiple Overseas Institutional Wallets

Jinse Finance reported that on September 16, WeChat Pay officially announced an upgrade to its "Outsourcing for Internal Use" service. WeChat Pay HK, HiPay, Liquid Pay, PayPal, Venmo, and Zalo Pay will gradually be connected to the "Unified Cross-Border QR Code Gateway." Several other payment service providers have also signed memorandums of cooperation. After entering the country, users holding the above-mentioned overseas wallets will be able to directly use these overseas wallet apps to scan WeChat Pay collection codes for payment.
