Belarusian President Calls for Accelerated Development of Cryptocurrency Regulatory Mechanisms
According to ChainCatcher, citing BelTA, Belarusian President Lukashenko has instructed relevant departments at a government meeting to establish transparent rules and regulatory mechanisms for the field of digital tokens and cryptocurrencies.
He emphasized that the sector is currently mainly managed by Hi-Tech Park in accordance with Article 8 of the "Decree on the Development of the Digital Economy," but in practice, there are issues such as capital flowing overseas without returning. The President requested that the responsibilities of the government and Hi-Tech Park be clarified, and that new regulations be formulated to ensure financial security and the legal operation of enterprises.
