Foresight News reports that Curve Finance has announced the 5th anniversary of CRV, with the CRV inflation rate dropping to 5.02%. According to Curve’s hardcoded issuance schedule, the CRV issuance rate decreases every August. The most recent reduction took effect on August 12, 2024. The rate of new CRV issuance has decreased from approximately 137.4 million CRV per year (about 4.36 CRV per second) to around 115.5 million CRV per year (about 3.66 CRV per second). As of today, all vested CRV—including team allocations, investor allocations, and early user incentives—have been fully distributed. From now on, the only CRV entering circulation will be through measured weighted issuance.
