Batoshi Foundation Partners with Cactus Custody to Provide Institutional-Grade Asset Custody for Users
ChainCatcher reports that the Batoshi Foundation (issuer and operator of beraBTC) has announced a partnership with Matrixport’s custody brand, Cactus Custody, to provide institutional-grade security custody for its on-chain BTC treasury and the beraBTC system, featuring multi-signature, hot-cold wallet separation, and HSM. The service is certified by Deloitte’s SOC 1 Type 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 audits, ensuring compliance, transparency, institutional trust, and user confidence.
The BTC used by users to mint beraBTC on Berachain will be securely held through custody collaboration with Cactus Custody, ensuring that funds are verifiable, traceable, and redeemable.
Leveraging TerpLayer technology, the Batoshi Foundation brings secure BTC liquidity to Berachain DeFi. This partnership establishes financial-grade asset protection and further strengthens its leading position in the Bitcoin DeFi sector. Looking ahead, both parties will continue to deepen their collaboration to drive further innovation within the Bitcoin ecosystem.
