Circle Games Raises $7.25 Million in Seed Funding Led by Bitkraft Ventures
On July 14, it was reported that Istanbul-based game studio Circle Games has recently completed a $7.25 million seed funding round, led by Bitkraft Ventures with participation from a16z Speedrun, Play Ventures, e2vc, and APY Ventures. The studio plans to use the funds to further develop its current project, Sort Express, as well as other unannounced games, while also supporting team expansion. In the casual puzzle game market, Circle Games aims to innovate the player experience by introducing new mechanics. Turkey's gaming industry is rapidly developing, and Circle Games' fundraising comes at a time when Turkey is emerging as a mobile gaming hub, ranking second only to the UK in game development within the EMEA region.
