Ethereum Foundation Proposes L1 zkEVM Real-Time Proof Standard to Advance Mainstream Adoption of Zero-Knowledge Proofs
Odaily Planet Daily reported that Ethereum Foundation developer Sophia Gold published an article proposing the launch of an L1 zkEVM within one year by executing proofs through multiple zkVMs and having them verified by validators. The goal of this solution is to achieve "real-time proofs," defined as: latency ≤10 seconds, 128-bit security, proof size ≤300KiB, and feasibility of home verification, among others, aiming to make Ethereum the world's largest ZK application platform.
