Ukraine imposes sanctions on entities aiding Russian cryptocurrency asset transfers involving 60 companies
According to a report by Jinse Finance, citing Ukrainska Pravda, Ukrainian President Zelensky has signed a decree imposing sanctions on individuals and legal entities that assist Russia in transferring assets via cryptocurrency. The sanctions target 60 companies, 55 of which are registered in the Russian Federation, including 19 major cryptocurrency mining firms, 17 digital financial asset information system operators, 19 components of Russian financial infrastructure, and 5 crypto exchange operators involved in sanction evasion. In addition, Ukraine has imposed sanctions on 73 individuals, including executives and owners of the sanctioned companies, as well as officials from the Central Bank of Russia.
