White House Digital Asset Policy Advisor: The United States Is Laying the Groundwork for Strategic Bitcoin Reserves
According to a report by Jinse Finance, FOX Business journalist Eleanor Terrett stated that Bo Hines, the White House digital asset policy advisor, has confirmed that the United States is working on building infrastructure for a strategic Bitcoin reserve. He pointed out that although the executive order issued by Trump in March this year did not mandate the Treasury Department to disclose a report on the current Bitcoin (BTC) holdings of the U.S. government, the government may choose to make this information public. He also added that the U.S. government is "very inclined" to increase its Bitcoin holdings in a budget-neutral manner.
