A Crypto Influencer Was Kidnapped and Beaten, Then Released Due to Insufficient Account Funds

According to European media reports, a 26-year-old trader was kidnapped on his way back to his residence in Juvisy-sur-Orge during the night from Friday to Saturday. The man, who has 40,000 followers on TikTok, was forcibly taken by four kidnappers into a stolen Clio car. Preliminary information indicates that the victim was beaten. The kidnappers demanded €50,000 in cryptocurrency from him. After checking his account balance and finding a much smaller amount, the kidnappers released him, realizing he did not possess the requested sum. The trader was assessed as requiring six days of medical leave due to his injuries (ITT). The case has been taken over by the Organized and Professional Crime Investigation Department.
