Consensys Founder: Frequent Discussions on ETH Have Only Recently Begun Due to Improved US Regulatory Environment
Consensys founder and Ethereum co-founder Joseph Robin responded to community comments suggesting he was posting frequently about ETH due to pressure, stating that the previous lower frequency of ETH discussions was because former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler advised against public commentary, as regulators were investigating Ethereum (for the most part) and the decentralized ecosystem. Now, with a more favorable U.S. regulatory environment, he can speak more freely. He emphasized that he has always been outspoken and hopes the community will express their concerns to Ethereum, Consensys, and decentralized protocols so that issues can be addressed together.
