The three major U.S. stock indices closed with mixed results, with the Dow Jones up 0.12%, the Nasdaq down 0.32%, and the S&P 500 down 0.01%. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 indices recorded their largest monthly gains since November 2023. Most popular tech stocks fell, with Tesla and Intel dropping over 3%, and NVIDIA, AMD, and Advanced Micro Devices falling over 2%.
