Lido DAO Initiates Emergency Proposal to Replace Oracle Node with Suspected Leaked Private Key, Protocol Operation Unaffected
On May 11, Lido stated on social media that Lido DAO has initiated an emergency proposal to replace the single Lido oracle node managed by Chorus One due to a suspected leak of its oracle private key.
Staking users are not affected, and the protocol remains secure and operational. Lido's oracle system uses a 5-out-of-9 multisig mechanism, so a single oracle failure does not threaten the system, and the other nodes remain unaffected.
· The oracle system is operating normally, with no software or data anomalies detected
· The other 8 oracle nodes have been checked and have not been compromised
· No signs of a broader attack on Chorus One have been found
