Nikkei: The framework proposed by the US tariff negotiators was strongly opposed by Japan
according to Nikkei News, the US tariff negotiation representative has proposed a framework for reaching an agreement with Japan. The US framework includes a reluctance to lower tariffs on cars, steel, and aluminum. The Japanese negotiation representative strongly opposes the US proposal.
