Roblox Says Gamers Unaffected by Tariffs, Developer Community Expected to Exceed $1 Billion in Revenue
According to Aastocks, the metaverse platform Roblox stated that gamers are not affected by tariffs, and the expected seasonal order volume with the lowest in-game spending will be between $5.29 billion and $5.36 billion, compared to the previous forecast of $5.2 billion to $5.3 billion. LSEG data shows that Roblox's first-quarter order amount increased by 31% to $1.21 billion, exceeding analysts' expectations of $1.14 billion. The company's CEO, David Baszucki, stated that the Roblox developer community is expected to generate over $1 billion in revenue.
