Bitget Chinese Representative: Eight Legal Letters Will Be Sent Successively, Recovered Funds Will Be 100% Airdropped to Platform Users
Bitget's Chinese representative, Xie Jiayin, posted on the X platform expressing that after verifying discussions in the community about the legal letters issued by BG, they want to clarify some details:
- Bitget will send out eight legal letters successively;
- These eight accounts are suspected to be connected to a professional arbitrage group, which is the main cause of the VOXEL incident, having illicitly profited over $20 million;
- The recovered funds will be 100% distributed to platform users in the form of an airdrop by Bitget;
- Apart from these eight accounts, all other users who participated in VOXEL trading and withdrew funds between 16:00-16:30 on April 20th need not worry! Accounts were restored to normal on Wednesday, and no future liabilities will be pursued;
- We will soon release a complete incident report on the VOXEL event to reveal the truth.
