Solana Foundation to Implement New Policy for Validator Entry and Exit in Delegation Program
April 23, Solana Foundation announced a new policy to enhance decentralization: For every new validator added to its Delegation Program, if certain validators have qualified for the mainnet with the Solana Foundation delegation for at least 18 months and have staked less than 1,000 SOL outside of the foundation's delegation, three of them will be removed. This change aims to reduce reliance on foundation delegation, encourage validators supported by the community, and maintain a more efficient and decentralized network.
