Trump: '100 percent' confident we can reach trade deal with EU
on April 17, local time, Italian Prime Minister Meloni arrived at the White House for a meeting with US President Trump. Trump administration officials said the two are expected to discuss a range of topics during the meeting, including trade, immigration, and ending the conflict in Ukraine. In addition, Meloni is expected to pressure Trump on trade and tariff issues. Some officials said Trump "attaches great importance to this matter" and the White House is "prepared to reach an agreement."
