It is suspected that Ethena will deploy USDe on Hyperliquid, or wait for the interoperability function of HyperEVM
PANews reported on March 18th that on-chain information shows Ethena has purchased the USDe trading code from Hyperliquid, confirming plans to integrate its stablecoin USDe into the Hyperliquid network. Analysis found that the wallet 0x4758...d605 which bought the USDe code can be traced back to Ethena's deployer (EOA), further verifying the association of Ethena's team.
In addition, Ethena recently sent funds to Hyperliquid and set up a 4-8 multisig wallet, indicating it may be preparing for deployment. Notably, related proposals were put forward in October last year at Ethena's governance forum but no progress had been announced by officials until now. Currently, Ethena might be waiting for the interoperability feature between HyperEVM and HyperCore to go live before officially deploying USDe.
