US Treasury Department: The IRS has revoked a $1.9 billion contract and will continue to cooperate with DOGE to reduce waste
The U.S. Department of the Treasury issued a statement in X saying, "We are working with DOGE to identify waste, fraud, and abuse. To this end, the Internal Revenue Service has revoked its previously planned $1.9 billion contract and pledged to focus on and make reasonable use of taxpayer funds.
We have included SoW project and FPDS entries for full transparency. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the DOGE team in an effort to reduce waste."
