Listed Company Semler Scientific to Buy 871 BTC for $88.50 million

Bitcoin was proposed by Satoshi Nakamoto on November 1, 2008 and officially born on January 3, 2009. Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer, decentralized cryptocurrency that does not rely on central authority publishing, but is completed in the blockchain through proof-of-work consensus mechanism, commonly known as "mining". Bitcoin uses a distributed database of P2P network nodes to confirm, verify, and record currency transactions, with a total publishing volume of 21 million.
On February 4th, according to official news, the US stock Listed Company Semler Scientific announced that it has invested $88.50 million to increase its holdings of 871 BTC today. Since July 1st, 2024, Semler Scientific's BTC yield has been 152%, and it currently holds 3,192 BTC.
