Tim Copelan, editor-in-chief of TheBlock, wrote on X platform that perhaps Ethereum should become Solana's L2. Many industry insiders have expressed dissatisfaction with Ethereum's L2 route, believing that they should focus on expanding L1, but long-term expansion still requires more solutions. Vitalik Buterin even updated his X avatar to Milady 9286 to "save Ethereum".
