CAT Protocol calls out to attackers: Important clues have been collected. If it's just for vulnerability disclosure, appropriate rewards will be given
CAT Protocol issued a statement to the attacker on X, stating that it has collected important clues about their attempted attack. It is currently cooperating with security companies such as SlowMist and law enforcement agencies to track and hold relevant individuals accountable. If the attacker's intention was to expose vulnerabilities, they are encouraged to participate in a responsible and ethical manner and contact via email. The team is willing to reward such disclosures within policy limits.
It is reported that previously, community members reported a suspicious address selling approximately 50,000 $OPCAT tokens almost every day. CAT Protocol investigated and found an exploited vulnerability which was quickly controlled and decisive measures were taken to prevent any further attempts.
