Musk: Go directly to Mars, not the Moon
Musk posted on X, stating: "We are going directly to Mars, not the moon. The moon will only distract us. Orbital payload mass is a key indicator, followed by the mass transported to the surface of Mars. To establish a self-sufficient colony on Mars, orbital transport capacity needs to reach millions of tons per year."
