Arthur Hayes: Trump can check and balance Powell through his nominee for Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes posted on social media saying that Powell is not cooperating with Trump like he did with Biden. However, this doesn't matter because Trump's nominated Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent will balance Powell like "bad girl" Yellen.

Trump's team doesn't rely on the simple method of printing money by the Fed:

· End the trusteeship of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

· Devalue the US dollar against gold

· Relax the supplementary leverage ratio (SLR) exemption
