Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, strongly criticized meme coins during a live broadcast on Halloween, October 31, 2024. Hoskinson stated that they are fundamentally worthless. "Meme coins, they have no value, they will never have value, they will never have value, stop thinking they will have value, you degenerates. Grow up already," he asserted.
