U.S. stocks closed with the Nasdaq plunging 2.76 per cent as tech stocks fell across the board
The three major U.S. stock indices closed collectively lower, with the Dow down 0.9%, the Nasdaq down 2.76%, and the S&P 500 down 1.86%. Large technology stocks fell across the board, Microsoft fell more than 6%, Meta fell more than 4%, Amazon, Tesla fell more than 3%, Apple, Google fell nearly 2%. Chip stocks fell in general, Arm fell more than 8%, Nvidia, Micron Technology fell more than 4%, TSMC, Qualcomm fell more than 2%.
