ZachXBT reveals 11 crypto wallets tied to trader Murad
Crypto investigator ZachXBT has revealed that meme coin trader Murad Mahmudov manages 11 different crypto wallets, collectively holding around $24 million in meme coins.
ZachXBT’s findings suggest that Murad publicly endorsed tokens like SPX (CRYPTO:SPX) while benefiting from a 61x increase in the value of his own holdings.
According to Lookonchain data, Murad acquired 35.69 million SPX tokens between June and August, coinciding with his public promotion of the coin’s potential.
While ZachXBT did not claim that Murad was compensated for promoting these assets, he criticized the trader’s actions, stating, "Murad is promoting microcap meme coins to thousands of followers while controlling the supply and making lofty predictions. People deserve to know the wallets so they can make informed decisions."
By October, the value of SPX tokens that Murad had accumulated had significantly risen, largely due to his public endorsements.
However, some members of the meme coin community defended Murad’s actions, with one X user stating, “Zach clearly has some philosophical objection to folks talking about their bags, and meme coins specifically. Murad has done nothing wrong.”
The situation has sparked debate about the ethical implications of promoting meme coins while holding significant positions in them.
