US SEC Chairman: Cryptocurrency industry won't be sustainable in the long run without investor protection
In an interview with CNBC on 27 September, Gary Gensler, Chairman of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), said, ‘Without investor protections or consumer protections (a series of regulations and measures), this industry [cryptocurrencies] won't be sustainable in the long term.’
