Vitalik Six Goals for Ether in the Next Decade
At Token2049 on September 18th, Ether founder Vitalik delivered the keynote speech “What Excites Me About the Next Decade”.
Vitalik said that the main goal for Ether in the next decade is to meet mainstream adoption while maintaining open source and decentralized values.
He gave 6 examples to illustrate this: wallet security, decentralized social media user experience, payments, privacy tools, zk social media, Ethereum L1 (Oribit SSF, Verkle Tree/stateless Validation, solving the MEV problem, ZK-SNARKing Ethereum L1, and light clients).
