OORT updates token economic model: 800 million OORT will be locked for 5 years, extending the team's token unlock period
The decentralized AI and DePIN project OORT announced an update to its token economic model. The total amount of OORT tokens is 2 billion, with key changes including:
1. Over the next five years, 400 million OORT tokens will be allocated as rewards for the OORT Edge network nodes. Additionally, 800 million OORTs will be locked from September 15, 2024 for five years; the lock-up address will be announced soon.
2. The unlocking period for the 200 million OORT tokens allocated to the founding team has been extended from four to six years in line with long-term healthy development goals of the OORT ecosystem.
