Bitcoin Miners Face Toughest Month in 2024: August Revenue Hits Yearly Low
August was the most difficult month of the year for bitcoin miners to face revenues, with bitcoin mining revenues falling by $99.75 million in August compared to July, marking the lowest revenues since September 2023.On-chain fees collected also declined in August, with subsidies and fees generating a total of $851.36 million, with $20.76 million of that coming from on-chain fees, reaching the lowest level since last year, and down $4.14 million compared to July A drop of $4.14 million was recorded compared to July.
