Edward Gaming (EDG) has emerged as winners of the Valorant Champions 2024, securing a place for themselves in the annals of esports history after their astounding performance during the grand finals against Team Heretics. The best-of-five series finals began with Team Heretics winning map one Haven at 13-6. They opened up with a heavy start, leaving EDG on defense throughout the match. Nonetheless, EDG quickly got back on track on Sunset where they had been impressive throughout this competition. They came back and won comprehensively at 13-4 thereby tying up the series thus setting it up for an epic battle.
