Mempool data shows that in the past hour, miners mined an empty block (i.e., a block containing only the coinbase block reward transaction) at Bitcoin height 857116. Note: Miners pack empty blocks for economic benefits. In order to fully utilize this time for mining and avoid conflicts with transactions packed in parent blocks, they cannot fill transactions into the block.
