OP_NET, a Bitcoin-based DeFi and smart contract solution, is launching a testnet soon

A group of developers will launch the OP_NET testnet for Bitcoin-based DeFi and smart contract solutions on Wednesday, stating that this will bring programmable functionality to Bitcoin. OP_NET uses the Tapscript component of the Bitcoin Taproot upgrade, which means it will support Ordinals and Runes.
