Blockchain technology and artificial intelligence (AI) are tools to address illegal financial flows (IFF) in Africa. Olanipekun Olukoyede stressed at the Pan-African Conference on Illegal Financial Flows and Taxation that African countries lose $88.6 billion each year due to illegal financial flows, and if these funds are recovered, they can significantly improve infrastructure, healthcare and education across the continent.
